Five On Friday..

I can not believe the children break up from school today for a weeks holiday!! How quickly has this half term come around!?

Been a funny week, from it chucking it down with rain on Saturday {my sons race day} to being lovely and sunny yesterday.

1.) How muddy was it Saturday? When we set off to watch my son race it was lovely. By the time we got their it did nothing but rain!!

2.) Mollie the Collie was more interested in watching the car move around than posing for pictures in the rain!

3.) My son a little muddy after his race. You can imagine how muddy all 5 of us, 6 including the dog were when we got home!

4.) Sunday was a much better day. Lots of yummy baking for a valentine recipe post.

5.) Talking of yummy food, how many pancakes did you eat? I only had 2 for breakfast. We was going to make more for supper but we forgot...

  1. Well done to all of you for enduring the rain last Saturday to support your son's race. I can only imagine how much washing there was when you all arrived home!

  2. Yummy looking pancakes...and love the heart shape!!

Yes, it looks muddy for all but I'm sure the day spent out at the race was worth the wet.

  3. Well done for braving the race in all the rain and mud. :) Lovely pancakes too

  4. Rain and mud...soon the snow will give way to all that around here. Very soon I hope :)

  5. Hope you had a great day in spite of the mud and rain! x #pocolo

  6. It is a weird week weather wise! I think we had wee bit ice dusting, rain, sunshine, wind and storm here too so a school break is very much welcomed here as well =) #pocolo

  7. Look like a fun week, those pancakes look amazing! I think I might make them for breakfast tomorrow! #WeekendBlogHop

  8. Oh gosh it did look muddy! The weather was awful wasn't it? At least you got to enjoy some yummy baking though! ;)
My two had 2 pancakes each but I didn't have any, still trying to shift some weight. Thanks for linking to #PoCoLo. xx

  9. Well, you have to have the first pancake as a test don't you? And then you have to keep going until all the batter is used !! Thanks for linking up to #PoCoLo x
