Good, Random, Fun...

Good, Random, Fun:

Today is Monday and I am sharing the good, the random and the fun from our weekend. Oh boy, these have been some random things going on around here too.

What a weekend. What a weekend!!!!!!

Who ordered the rain? So much rain it is unbelievable!!

Some good, random and fun things that have been happening here in my part of the world and here they are:

The Good:

How sweet is this heart shape cup I picked up from the Pound Shop!! Perfect for Valentines Day. It also holds a perfect cup of tea. It would make a lovely present too, filled with yummy chocolate of course.

Home made gluten free cookie. Love cookies. Do you like making cookies too? We like them when they are slightly cooled straight from the oven, with a glass of milk.

How yummy!?

The Random:

How much rain have we been getting!?

This photo was taken at Wollaton Hall INottingham on Saturday. We had no choice but to go out in it as my son had said he would do a schools race. Great!!

You can imagine how dirty my son was after his race!!

Mollie came with us too. Dogs, kids, mud, rain. How dirty did we all get!?

How cool is this tree? We spotted this tree on one of our family walks with Mollie the Collie.Great place for a photo opp.

The Fun:

Yeap, we need some fun. Making hearts shape strawberries. How fun are these? Perfect for on the top of Valentines Day cakes too.

Making homemade sausage and egg muffins. They tasted amazing! Have you ever made your own? You must try then if not. Tasty!!

Here is my Good, Random, Fun things from this week.

What have you been up to that is Good Random and Fun?

  1. Love that heart shaped cup!! We have blustery wind but no rain in our neck of the woods. Saturday it was 65 and today it is 27. Crazy weather. Your sausage and muffins! yum! If I could only reach in and taste it.

  2. What fun, all very enjoyable photos :). We spent the weekend with family that ranged from a nine month old to a 95 year old. And discovered that after 40 years I actually enjoyed watching the Super Bowl.

  5. It rained like crazy Saturday evening through early Sunday. Then the sun came out just in time to settle down for Super Bowl Sunday. Low and behold, we got more rain this evening. Really heavy, too. I was trying to nap and the wind was blowing so hard it startled me. Found you over at Good Random Fun. ~Lowanda of Sunshine and Elephants

  10. Claire, mmm, that sausage and egg muffin looks yummy! Occasionally, I'll make egg, cheese, and Canadian bacon (ham) muffins and that's a real treat. The muffins aren't home-made, though. Strawberries are my favorite, but darn they pick them too soon and they aren't sweet enough. I'd like to grow my own someday. That would be really nice. Thanks for stopping in and linking up. Happy WW!
