Today I am sharing 6 Christmas Mince Pie Filling Recipes. These Mince Pie Fillings are perfect for your Christmas baking.

By making up your mince pie fillings in advance it will give the flavours more time to mature.

1.) Homemade Mincemeat & Mince Pies Recipe:

How about making this Homemade Mince Pies & mince pie fillings all from scratch? 

Homemade mincemeat is absolutely delicious and this version is very quick and simple to make. 

The mincemeat and pastry recipe can also be used to make a large tart, which works very well as a Christmas dessert served with ginger ice cream or brandy flavoured crème anglaise. 

This mincemeat recipe contains apple, sultanas, raisins, currants, dried cranberries, flaked almonds, Grated zest of 1 lemon, Grated, zest ½ orange, mixed spice, whisky or brandy, melted butter and one ripe banana. Yummy!!

2.) California Raisin Mincemeat:

This California Raisin Mincemeat is full of yummy raisins plus Bramley apples, oranges, lemons, currants, Muscovado brown sugar, Italian chopped mixed peel, mixed spice, ground cinnamon and dark rum, calvados or brandy.

How about trying this Easy Christmas Mincemeat

Easy to pre-prepare, freeze, then defrost when needed this mincemeat recipe uses either Whitworths' Mixed Fruit, or a combination of Whitworths Sultanas, Raisins and Currants, to create a rich, flavoursome finished product, without the addition of preservatives.

2 ways to make this one; 1kg Whitworths Mixed fruit OR Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Mixed Peel, Chunky Apple Sauce, Chopped Almonds, Soft Brown Sugar, Shredded Suet, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Cinnamon, lemon, grated zest & juice, orange, grated zest plus some rum or brandy (optional). What's not to love?


4.) Honestly Healthy Mince Pie Filling:

This Honestly Healthy Mince Pie Filling dried blueberries. Yummy. it also contains; Dried Sugar Free Cranberry, Sultanas, Orange Rind and half its juice, Lemon Rind, Grated Nutmeg, Cinnamon

This recipe is made up of; Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Shredded Vegetable Suet, Zest and Juice of 1 Orange, Zest and Juice of 1 Lemon, Mixed Spice, Ground Cloves, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Nutmeg, Sweet Freedom Dark, Bramley Apples, peeled, cored and cut into small dice and lastly Brandy.

  4. I love to make my own mincemeat, I don't like shop bought with the huge chunks of peel in it. I intend to try some of yours, love the sound of the Californian raisin x
